City Moves from Stage 1 to Stage 2 Fire Restrictions

Stage 2 fire restrictions will go into effect June 16, 2018. Until then, Stage 1 restrictions are still in place.

Due to increasingly dry conditions presenting a fire hazard throughout the Glenwood Springs area, City staff have determined it necessary to move from Stage 1 to Stage 2 fire restrictions, effective June 16.

CONE ZONES: 7th Street Sewer Work

The City of Glenwood Springs will be completing storm and sanitary sewer work along 7th Street through the beginning of July.

May 8-11

  • The intersection of 7th Street and Cooper Avenue will be closed for sanitary sewer installation.

May 14-15

  • Finishing of the new sewer line and completing storm sewer work from the elevator tower to the intersection of 7th Street and Cooper Avenue.
